Naturally...
We've had clear and cold weather for almost the entire month of December. January is almost always colder, with less snow, than December.
So, of course, today, when I REALLY wanted to get into work to take care of some stuff, the day after I've taken my car to the garage (which pretty much means I'd have to walk to work--done it before!), IT'S SNOWING.
And not just a little snow, either. I just looked out the back door to see how much I'd need to bundle up for the walk, and there's about three inches built up. There was NOTHING yesterday. I mean nothing. The grass was bare.
It's supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow morning, according to the forecast, and then get much colder. Great--I have a production meeting in Salt Lake at 10 am that I'll have to take a bus to reach, and then I'll be at Lagoon until close to 7 pm. So I get snowed on in the morning, and then get to walk home after the storm's blown over and the cold air settles in.
It's gonna be a long year, isn't it?

Yep, it only took me 2 hours to get home yesterday. Not much in the way of falling snow, but blowing snow.
